Introducing the play room is key to success. Selecting and placing the toys will play a role in creating the environment you wish to create to get the most out of your sessions.  Themes in play therapy will be shared as a way of tracking your client’s progress and understanding your selection of toys.

Lisa has served children and families for over 15 years as a counselor and supervisor of trauma informed services in hospital and outpatient practice settings in Birmingham and Denver.  She obtained her Masters in Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and later received her RPT certification in 2005.
